Troubleshooting Two Dashes on Curt TriFlex Brake Controller Display
Question:
Dealer installed this unit , the display only shows two dashes , vehicle on or off trailer connected or not . Manual says” battery power just connected or engine cranking “ ??? , any ideas? Thanks in advance

On the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # C24VV the double dash display means you have a power issue. It can be that you are not getting 12V to the controller, or it can mean your ground connection is bad. You will want to check your brake controller wiring. White is ground and black is 12V power. You can use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test these wires.
