2017 Nissan Pathfinder Factory Harness for Brake Controller

I saw the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder install video for the location of the factory harness for a brake controller. On my 2017 I found something wrapped in foam and tape in the same location as in the video but the Electric Brake Wiring harness the dealer provided to attach to a controller does not match up with the connector at the fuse panel. The connector at the panel has more pins / wires than the brake controller harness. What is wrong with this setup - photos attached. Thanks for your help!

Based on the picture you submitted and the info we have on your 2017 Nissan Pathfinder the harness your dealer gave you is correct. It matches the # 3050-P which is the correct harness from Tekonsha. Most likely you have found the wrong harness on your vehicle and you need to check again to find the correct one.

The harness will be located underneath and left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency
brake pedal.
