Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Ford F-350 Short Bed Towing Montana 3150RL
Question:
Hi, I have a 2018 F350 SRW 63/4foot bed. A Montana 3150RL 5th wheel trailer with the curved nose. Im wondering if the Demco would be overkill? With the curved nose Im wondering if I would really have to use the slider much? I would like to maybe go with B and W patriot slider instead if I didnt think I would maybe need it much. Since the nose of your Montana 3150RL is designed for short bed turning clearance and your 2018 Ford F-350's short bed is actually longer than most short beds at 6-3/4 feet you'd most likely never need the use of a slider. Because of that the B and W part # BWRVK3370 would be the better choice if you have the factory rail kit or part # BWRVK3270 for if you do not. Most likely you'd even be fine with the fixed version part # BWRVK3300 if you had the rail kit or part # BWRVK3255 actually.
