Can the release pin on the collar be mounted to the side instead of to the rear.? I have a winch for my pop up directly behind he jack.

Yes, you can mount the Ultimate Trailer Jack part # 322-RDJ-2K so that the release pin faces outward instead of towards the trailer. All you need to do is rotate the jack until the mounting holes line up and the pin is pointed away from the trailer. This should in turn give you the clearance you are looking for.

If you would like to add a foot pad to this jack then you can use part # JF-101BK which is a direct fit.

You can rotate the whole trailer jack, such as #LC285318 or another A-frame mount jack, by unbolting it from the trailer, turning it, and bolting it back on. You would not be able to rotate just the head by itself.

You can rotate an A-frame jack like the Stomberg Carlson Jack part #JET-3555 that you referenced if needed to allow you to open your rear hatch. The bolt pattern of the jack is allows for mounting of the jack in any orientation.
