Trailer Jack Option That Allows Me To Lower My Tailgate When Towing My Casita Travel Trailer

Question:

Hi— I can’t open the tailgate to my pickup truck while my casita trailer is hitched up because the trailer jack is in the way. Do you have jack that swivels out of the way while it’s hitched that will mount to the casita? Do yo carry ‘jack-e-up’ adapters? Thanks,

I may have a solution for you. Your Casita travel trailer has an a-frame. My jack recommendation works a-frame trailers. If your a-frame has pre-threaded holes for your jack, this option may not work for you.

While we do not carry Jack-E-Up adapters, I do have a jack with a similar feature. My jack recommendation is the Ultimate Trailer Jack - A-Frame - Topwind - 27-1/2" Lift - 2,000 lbs, part # 322-RDJ-2K. This jack can easily be moved up and down, so you can lower tailgate while being hooked to your travel trailer.

I have included a product description link and a video review link below.
