Trailer Turn Signals are Reversed with Hopkins Trailer Wiring Installed on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I purchased the Hopkins trailer hitch wiring kit for my jeep wrangler, however when I hooked it up to the driver side the blinkers were reversed. The jeep driver side left would blink, and the trailer right side would blink. What did I do wrong?

Since there is but one place to plug in the Plug-N-Tow TM Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 32625, on a 2006 Jeep Wrangler, I do not think you have done anything wrong. The T-connector can only be plugged in a certain way. The same goes for the other connectors.
There remains 2 possibilities. First, it is possible that the wiring for the left side on the trailer from the trailer side connector goes to the right tail light and the wiring for the right side goes to the left tail light. But, if the wiring was fine before or works properly on other tow vehicles, then it is possible that the Hopkins harness is wired incorrectly. You may need to switch the green and yellow wires on the ends that connect to the vehicle.
