Can 1,000 lb Tongue Weight Equal-i-Zer Weight Distribution be Converted to 1,200 lb
Question:
Hi guys, first thanks for this amazing web site, good job. However I have a question, I found more than one answer to this question on your site but for me there is some conflictual info, so here it is: Can you fit 1200 pounds bar in the 1000 pounds head ? Not saying that one should do it :- Is it the same shape at the end of the bar going into the socket ? What is the main difference between the 12000/1200 and the 10000/1000 heads ? a lot thicker ? a different head shape ? or else Thanks

Since the 1,200 Equal-i-Zer spring bars # EQ90-01-1299 are wider at 1-1/2 inches than the 1,000 lb bars which are 1-3/8 inch you'd have to swap heads too. So with that you'd need the part # EQ90-02-1200 too to be able to convert from 1,000 lb tongue weight to 1,200 lb.
