Does CE Smith Bolster Assembly for Boat Trailers, part # CE10000G-4 have Weight Capacity
Question:
CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies - Galvanized Steel - 9inch - Qty 4 Item # CE10000G-4 will these support a 4000 lb boat? my plan is to have two 8foot bunks aft using 2 or 3 brackets per bunk and two 4foot bunks forward using 2 brackets per bunk. the boat is 26foot long with a very shallow vee that transistions into a flat chineless bottom. Thanks

I spoke with my contact at CE Smith, and they said the Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assembly for Boat Trailers, part # CE10000G-4, do not bear the weight of the boat. The U-bolt that attaches the brackets to the trailer frame support the weight of the boat more than anything so these do not have a stated weight capacity. Your 4,000 lb boat would not be an issue for these brackets at all.
