Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2016 Audi Q5
Question:
Is the wiring harness you recommend for the Curtis trailer hitch a HARD WIRE harness or what I have been told a magnetic harness? I was told if you hard wire the trailer hitch wiring it voids the warranty. Your thoughts?

We have a trailer wiring harness for your 2016 Audi Q5 that does not require hardwiring to install. For that you'd want the ZCI kit part # 119250KIT. This kit uses sensors that attach to the wires instead of quick-splices so you have a very non-invasive wiring kit install.
I attached an install video for this kit on a 2018 Audi Q5 which will be very similar to your 2016 Q5.
