Does LED Trailer Fender Clearance Light Need a Ground Wire That Goes to Wiring Box?

Question:

I will be wiring up this light, tomorrow, and I am curious what I need to carry to it for wires. All of the other lights I bought from you nice packaging and order fulfillment by the way have round connectors to be screwed in at the light. Can I do the same thing with this light, or do I need to connect to a ground wire that goes up to the wiring box? I am thinking that it might look better if I have two wires in the wire loom to feed the light, rather than having an exposed ground to be seen, but that is a matter of preference I think. Thank you for your help.

You do not have to connect the ground wire of the LED Trailer Fender Clearance Light # MCL180ARB to your main ground that goes to the wiring box. What you can do is use a ring terminal such as # 44-5310A and screw like # 101131802 and ground it to your trailer frame close to where the light is.
