Square LED Trailer Lights and 5-Way Wiring Harness for a Wesco Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a 26foot WESCO aluminum beam trailer for a 22foot boat. The wiring harness is shot and lights are old bulb style. It has a reverse solenoid for disc hydraulic brakes on tandem axel. It currently has the small square lights in back. What is the over 80 and under 80 thing? Is that height of boat on trailer off ground? Also, with the brake release solenoid, I think I need a 5 prong flat wiring harness at least 25foot long- cannot find on your site. Any help on lights and wiring replacement suggestions?

Over or under 80 means 80 inches of width. There are certain lighting requirements if the trailer is more than 80 inches wide. Trailers that are less than 80 inches wide can still use lights that are indicated as over 80 inch.

Since you need a 5-way wiring harness I recommend getting the lights separately, # STL8RB and # STL9RB, and then getting # A25W5B for the harness. This is a 5-Way wishbone harness. That means that the running light pin has 2 wires for running lights on each side of the trailer. It is so you don't have to splice in a jumper wire.

For over 80 inch wide trailers use # STL3RB and # STL2RB. I have included a link to trailer lighting requirements for you as well.
