Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2017 Lincoln MKC
Question:
Part Number 118284 will it fit a Lincoln MKC for sure or should I get P/N C56262?

Expert Reply:
Both the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118284 and the Curt T-Connector Harness # C56262 referenced in your question are confirmed to fit your 2017 Lincoln MKC. Both harnesses will install the same way, by connecting to built-in ports in the rear cargo area behind the driver's and passenger's side, and then running the hot lead up to the vehicle battery. This will give you a 4-Way connector that will connect with and power a trailer's basic signal lights.
Between the two harnesses, I do recommend going with the Tekonsha # 118284. We tend to get more troubleshooting issues with the Curt harness and Tekonsha has a very solid reputation for manufacturing reliable, long-lasting electrical products for towing applications.
