I have a bad spindle and need to replace the torsion axle but thought about switching to the new timbren axless setup. Is it possible for a94 pace American trailer. 28ft enclosed race trailer

It is absolutely possible to change your axles to Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System on your 1994 Pace American 28 foot enclosed race trailer. My recommendation is to use the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w Electric Brake Hubs - 3,500 lbs # A35RS545E for each axle. These can be used in tandem axle applications, but not triple axle applications.

These systems do require a 2 inch square bar cut to the custom length to use in the integrated holes of these assemblies. This will give you the support needed as well as give you a higher ground clearance compared to through axles.

If you need a higher weight capacity for your trailer axles, then I recommend the 5,200 lb assemblies # ASR5200S01. With these assemblies, I recommend the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb and 6,000-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 12" - 6 on 5-1/2 # 8-201-9UC3-EZ, but you will need grease seals # RG06-070 instead of the ones that come with the assembly. For your brake assemblies, you will want # 23-458-459.

There is a solution for you, but the lift kits you referred to such as #K71-725-02 will not work with welded on torsion axles. The best option is for you to simply remove your torsion axles and use the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System…
