Available Class I Hitch and Class I Cargo Carrier for 2004 Toyota Corolla
Question:
Hi, can you tell me which hitch receiver and mobility scooter carrier is compatible with a 2004 Toyota Corolla? The scooter weighs 95 pounds. I think I need a Class 1 receiver and a carrier that is appropriate for a 1 1/4” receiver opening. Thank you.

We can help you with a hitch receiver and scooter carrier for your 2004 Toyota Corolla.
Light-duty Class I hitches # C11265 and # 24913 are the options made for your 2004 Corolla. Both share the same weight rating and both offer no-drill installation with included hardware. The only real difference in actual use is that Curt requires you to use their hitch support strap # 18050 when using a load like the scooter carrier. If not the hitch warranty is void. If you prefer to skip this requirement then select the Draw-Tite # 24913. Install videos for both are linked for you.
We do offer compatible Class I hitch-mount cargo carriers but please note these do not have a loading ramp as do the heavier-duty models like # FHG69ZR. Ramped carriers like this are only offered for the stronger 2-inch hitches made for larger vehicles.
For a carrier that can hold the weight of the 95-lb scooter you can use Curt # C18110 or one of the others shown on the linked page.
