how tall are these brackets when installed on the gutters? I have an interstate loadrunner 5x8 trailer that is 84 tall. I have to keep my trailer in the garage which has an opening max of 93 so these rails could be no taller than 8-9 max above roofline.

The Rack em Fitz-All Ladder Rack, part # RA-28 is 22-1/8 inches tall. As you mentioned, this rack installs on the rain gutters. To determine the height once installed, measure 22-1/8 inches upward from your rain gutter.
