Recommended Trailer Jack With 1,500 lb Capacity and Retracted Height of 12-3/4 Inches
Question:
I measured my trailer jack again and I was incorrect on the dimension from center of jack to front of jack when raised actually 7. I have attached some pictures with measurements. Question can a jack be taken apart, and can the outer tube be cut off for more clearance? I have a wheel but would have to cut off the outer tube so I could lower the jack for shorter trailer hitches. My objective is to add a wheel to my existing jack, or replace the complete jack w/wheel. Do you have a jack that will work in my application?

The Fulton Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack with Fixed Length - 400 lbs # F1410050149 has a fixed height of 14-1/2 inches. We don't have a fixed height option for a 1,500 lb jack, so I recommend the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack - Bolt On # FXP15L which is shorter at the retracted height of 12-3/4 inches but also extends to 24-3/4 inches. I've attached a couple videos to assist.
