Replacement Jack for Ranger Boat Trailer with Weld-On Jack

Question:

Re: model XP15W 0301, 1500 lb, side wind, weld on jack. I already have a mounting plate welded onto my Ranger boat trailer. Need to know the bolt pattern/spacing on this jack to see if it will fit. My bolt pattern/spacing is 5 1/2inch horiz. and 3 1/4inch vert. on a plate/bracket that measures 8inch x 5inch which mounts to and covers the welded on plate.

The Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack, Weld-On # FXP15W is designed to mount to its mounting bracket with a single center bolt. The mounting bracket designed to work with this jack is part # P9012-00.

In order to replace the weld-on jack on your boat trailer, you will want to cut off the existing mounting plate. I spoke with Ranger boats and they informed me that the manufacturer of their weld-on jacks is no longer in business, and that there are no replacement parts for it. They said that commonly people will cut off the existing weld bracket to install a new jack, and that many people choose a different mounting style.

If you don't want to weld on a new mounting bracket for the # FXP15W that you referenced, you could use the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Maring Jack, Bolt-On , 1,500 Pounds # FXP15L. Rather than needing a bracket that is welded on, the # FXP15L jack will bolt around the trailer tongue, and comes with a mounting bracket for 3 inch x 5 inch trailer frame.

I have attached review videos of both of these jacks for you.
