Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Roadmaster base plate quick disconnect padlocks for a quantity of four. Now, these padlocks will secure your Roadmaster base plate to your tow bar by using these locks with the keys. These will replace the pins that are in the quick-disconnects for give you peace of mind and added security. Now, I did wanna zoom in and just show you an insert.
If you look at that insert, you'll see how the lock should use. There's one on top right there that'll lock in place after you remove the pin. And then down on the bottom, you'll see a lock installed also after you remove the pin. Now, these locks use a hardened steel shackle here with solid brass tumblers to resist tampering. It is four padlocks and keys all included and the same key will work on all the padlocks.
These parts are made in the USA. But again, just to show you how to open it, just take your key and insert it, and then go ahead and twist it, and you'll notice the shackle pop up. You can swing it to the side, install it into your opening. And then once it's in there, go ahead and push it in place. And then just pull your key out and it's all locked, ready to go.

Poor Quality. Sticky mechanisms. Replaced with Master Locks. Much better quality.
Nice locks that fit like they are supposed to! The pins and cylinders have a nice feel to them. I feel better knowing that my tow equipment is secure!

I used two of the Reese pull pin plates/locks on the pins that secure the hitch to the rails and two on the pins that connect the top and bottom of the hitch together.
I also used a lock on the handle so it can't be turned and disengage my bar.

I wanted four locks keyed the same for our RV Tow Car Tow Bar. Didn't want to worry about anyone removing one of the locking pins "as a joke"! I found the best price on etrailer! They also have a couple great videos that allowed me to feel comfortable I was ordering what I wanted! The locks are also matched two other ones that came with my Roadmaster Tow Bar. This was my second order with etrailer and both have been great experiences.
These locks work very well and seem to holdup in all kinds of weather. With these on my tow bar I fell that all of my equipment is secure.
I use these to lock up my Roadmaster four (4) quick disconnect tow brackets on my Jeep Wrangler and they work great. Peace of mind to know that everything that could be removed without you wanting it to won't be.
Received your locks yesterday but have not used them. Just purchased a motor home with roadmaster tow bar. Needed locks but could not find in RV showrooms. Found yours via internet and am extremely happy. Thank you so much.

These locks are all keyed alike and fit the towbar assembly just right. Glad I bought them instead of trying to make some other lock assortment fit.
Locks went on easily, four keyed the same for just a few bucks more. Now I can leave our quick-disconnect Roadmaster bar on our Honda Element and not have it come up missing while on the road. Problem solved.

The locks are working great, I recommend putting a piece of tape over the key end when traveling. With the road grime, snow, rain, sand it will just save a headache getting the key in.
Lock works great except girt sometimes makes it hard to unlock

Still works great, after 1 year and 4000 miles everything still works and is secure.
