Difference Between Curt Hitch Pins # C21500 and # C21504

I will be eventually getting a Curt Multi-Balll Hitch/Receiver, and was looking at the Curt Pin and Clip. However my question is “what is the difference between the Curt model #C21500 and the Curt model #21504?”

The difference between the two pin and clips is the length. The part # C21500 has a useable span of 3-3/16 inches and the part # C21504 has a useable span of 2-3/4 inches.

We have the Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set #900B that has all three common hitch ball sizes of 1-7/8, 2 and 2-5/16 inch that can be swapped out and does not have a scale. I attached a review video for more info on this as well.

I recommend replacing the 2" Hitch Ball #63845 if it was over torqued. By overtightening the ball you may have added microscopic cracks inside the steel that will lead to a failure in the future.
