Solution for Connecting Truck with 4-Way Round to 7-Way Blade

can you adapt 7 pin flat pins large round trailer connector to 4 pin round pins small round vehicle connector. 4 pin round is on a 1976 1/2 ton chevy and 7 pin round seems to be on every other vehicle and trailer

Your best option would be to cut off the 4-way round and wire in a 7-way blade connector like the part # PK11898 instead as there isn't an adapter for you situation.
Color - circuit - recommended wire gauge:
Red - Left Turn and Stop - 14 gauge
White - Ground - 10 gauge
Blue - Electric Brakes - 12 gauge
Green - Right Turn and Stop - 14 gauge
Black - Battery - 12 gauge
Brown - Running Lamps - 14 gauge
Yellow - Backup Lamps - 14 gauge
