Electric Trailer Brakes for 2013 Keystone Cougar 32RBK
Question:
I have a 2013 Keystone cougar 32 RBK travel trailer. I am looking to replace the electric brake system on this unit. Do you know offhand what product goes on that trailer?

Though we do not have any types of parts list for trailers, I did take a look at the specs for your 2013 Keystone Cougar 32RBK travel trailer and it looks like the GVWR of the rig is 9,000 lbs. Electric brakes that may be a fit for you are the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA, which are 12" and rated for axles with a capacity between 5,200 lbs and 7,000 lbs. They have a 5-bolt mounting flange and fit 14.5" to 16.5" wheels. These self-adjusting brakes need mounting hardware # BRKH12 to install these brakes.
Another option might be the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # K23-478-479, which are 10" and for use with 4,400 lb axles. They use a 4-bolt mounting flange and fit 13", 14", 14-1/2", and 15" wheels.
If you do know the weight capacity of your trailer's axles you can let me know and I'd be happy to make a more specific recommendation for you. I've added a link to our page with our selection of electric brakes for you to take a look at as well.
