Recommended Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 2012 Acura MDX
Question:
Hello. Ive purchased many hitches from your site. Im planning to buy part code 13354 for my 2012 Acura MDX. Would you please recommend wire harness options I can evaluate? Thank you.

Thanks so much for your repeat business!
Starting with the trailer hitch itself, the Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch # 13354 that you referenced is confirmed to fit your 2012 Acura MDX and will work great. The hitch is custom-fit for the vehicle, so it will use existing holes in its frame for a no-drill installation.
I have attached an installation video on your Acura that you can use for reference.
Then for a custom-fit wiring harness, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118424. This will install by connecting directly to the built-in ports located behind the driver's-side interior trim panel in the rear cargo area. It will provide you with a 4-Way at the bumper that will connect with and power your trailer's basic signal lights. The three available harnesses for your vehicle will all install the same way, but I recommend the Tekonsha because of their fantastic reputation for producing reliable and long lasting electrical products for vehicles and trailers.
I have again included an installation video that you can check out.
In order to tow your trailer, you will also need a ball mount and hitch ball if you do not have one already. I have attached an excellent article that explains how to choose the best one for your setup, along with a link that will take you to our available selection.
