If you installed a universal 4-Way harness that did not include a converter on your 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that features a separate wiring system, you will need to add a converter like the Roadmaster # RM-732. This will convert the tail light signals on your Jeep from separate to combined so they will work with the wiring on the trailer to properly power its signal lights.

Once you have this installed, all of the trailer's basic signal light functions will operate as they should.
