Combining Brake and Turn Signal Circuits to Use Bulb and Socket Kit to Flat Tow 2015 GMC Terrain

Question:

I am wanting to flat tow a GMC Terrain behind a Motorhome. I have installed the blue ox base plate and used the Blue Ox Tail Light Wiring Kit - Bulb and Socket Item # BX8869. Having trouble to get the lights to work properly in the terrain while hooked up. My motorhome has the brake lights and turn signals in different housings/bulbs. Would this Roadmaster kit allow me to combine the brake/turn signals on the motorhome, and then allow the terrains new bulbs to work for both signals? Terrain is wired with a 4 wire loom up to the front the same one provided in the blue ox kit Thank You

Expert Reply:

Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter # RM-732 will take separate turn signal and brake light circuits and combine them. So if the wiring from the RV has separate brake and turn circuits going into the 4-Way at the front of your Terrain then you would use this converter to combine them on the RV side.
