Replacement Parts for Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System
Question:
Good afternoon,, I am new to the RV world and I just recently purchased my first RV which is a 2007 Ameri-Camp T304LE. My tow vehicle is a 2011 Dodge Durango Hemi RWD. I have included a pictures to help with my description as well. I picked up the trailer last night and as you can see from the pictures I have attached, there is a Reese set up installed on the actual trailer. I need the rest of the hitch assembly. The parts that go into the receiver and I think they are called trunion bars??? I dont want to have to buy a whole new set up if I have half of it already if at all possible and I dont want to change brands as the trailer already has these holes drilled into it already. Please let me know what my options are and if you need any more pictures to help you out. Thanks!

Based on your photo, it appears you have the dual cam system of the Reese Strait-Line. I researched your trailer to find a GVWR of 5895. Based on this, we can make some calculated assumptions on the tongue weight. The tongue weight of a trailer is typically 10 to 15%, so that would put you at 590 to 885 lbs. That will make the correct system the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control # RP66084.
For the replacement parts you will want the following:
Replacement Head for Reese Weight Distribution System - Trunnion Bar # RP58167
Replacement Trunnion Spring Bar for Reese Weight Distribution System # RP66009 (x2)
Hitch ball # 19286 for 2-5/16 inch diameter or # A-90 for 2 inch diameter
Reese Weight Dist Shank # RP54970
Pin and Clip # PC3
Reese Replacement Chain Kit for Uplift Bracket for Weight Distribution # 55630
Your trailer will have the other components like the Replacement Lift Bracket for Reese Weight Distribution Systems # RP21501 and the multiple parts of the cam bracket and assembly.
Let me know if you have questions.
