Is Dual Cam Strait Line Weight Distribution Still Best Sway Control
Question:
Helping a brother setup for his new travel trailer. He is buying a Open range 275 RLS pulled by behind a Dodge Diesel 3/4 ton. I have not had a trailer since my 24foot sunline with dual cam. Have had 5th wheels and Class As since then. What is newest and greatest weight distributing with sway controls. I loved my dual cam but that was a long time ago. Thanks for all input.

Expert Reply:
The dual cam setups are still the best sway control around as they do the best at preventing sway before it starts due to the way they want to force the trailer to stay straight behind you. So the Strait Line part # RP66084 that you referenced would still be the best setup to go with which would work great with the tongue weight of your Open Range RLS as it has a range of 600-1,200 lb.
