What Crossbar Spread is Needed for Malone Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box
Question:
Hello, I would like to find out whether the MPG901 crossbar spread fits a 28inch span. The page at Malone states that it goes to 27inch and your and the the installation document indicates that it is 28. Would you please let me know which document is correct? Thank you!

I spoke with my contact at Malone regarding the Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box # MPG901 referenced in your question. She confirmed that this particular cargo box will work with a crossbar spread of 24 to 28 inches.
This is a very nice cargo box that will provide you with 12 cubic feet of storage space and quick-attach mounting brackets for simple installation. It features 2 lid locking points for excellent security and 2 interior load straps to keep your cargo in place.
