Troubleshooting Two Maxxair Deluxe Vents on a Sprinter Van
Question:
Hi. We just bought a Sprinter van with two of the MaxxAir Deluxe Manual Vents. Nothing happens when we push the on/off button on either fan. The lights that are on the same fuse are working, so theres power and the fuse is okay. Do you have any ideas what we should look at next to solve this problem? Thank you so much!

If you are getting no power at all when you hit the on/off button on either of your MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift - 4 Speed - Smoke # MA00-06401K vents, then there is most likely not power getting to them. I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check for power as it is very likely they are run to a different location than your lights.
There are multiple functions on these fans, so if none of them are working, then the unit will need to be replaced. Even with problems with certain functions within the unit, you would still have other functions work if power is getting to the unit unless the entire circuit board is bad on both units which could be possible, but is very unlikely.
