An ST205/75R14 tire with a load range D would generally have a maximum weight capacity of 2,100-lbs at 65 psi. For example, the Karrier Radial Trailer Tire, Item # AM10235, has a maximum load capacity of 2,040-lbs at 65 psi. Each tire can have a slightly different weight capacity so be sure and go with the manufacturer's specifications which are stamped on the tire.

Whatever the capacity of your tires, your overall capacity is determined by the smallest maximum capacity of your trailer and/or its parts. For example, if a single axle trailer has a maximum capacity of 3,000-lbs and each tire has a maximum capacity of 2,040-lbs at 65 psi (4,080-lbs total) then your maximum capacity would be 3,000-lbs.
