The only differences between the Demco Trailer Coupler # DM14976-52 and # DM88XR are the colors and the mounting bracket design.

The part DM14976-52 is silver and has a straight, or no-drop, design with the bottom of the coupler being towards the top of the bottom mounting hole, while the part DM88XR is black and has a little bit of a drop so the bottom of the coupler is just below the lower mounting hole.

Aside from that they both fit a 2" hitch ball, have the mounting holes 2" apart on center, and have the 10K weight capacity so either one will work for your application.
