For a replacement 7-way on your 2008 Toyota Tacoma, we have the replacement you need. Which one you want will depend on your current fit.
If you have a 7-way that has the round US car connector, then I recommend the Hopkins Replacement Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors # 30955.

If you have the 4-way to 7-way adapter, then I recommend the Curt Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole w/Test Lamps # C57674 or the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 4-Way Flat to 7-Way RV Trailer Adapter w/ 4-Way Vehicle End Plug # HM47180.
