Hi, there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Front Runner cargo rail. This is gonna provide a tie down point for securing your cargo on the wall or floor of your trailer, truck, or van. This can also be used in your shop, on the shop wall, or other flat surface. It does come with the one Front Runner eye bolt for tracks, and this will work great for your Front Runner stratchit or other tie down strap, those are not included, so you will have to provide those yourself, but it is gonna give you that nice solid connection point to make sure that your gear's gonna be where you need it to be when you get to your destination. This is gonna have a very easy installation.
It can be mounted with bolts or rivets, those are not included, you'll have to provide those yourself. But you can see we do have these 5/16-inch diameter mounting holes here that will allow you to get this firmly secured to your wall or floor. This can be mounted horizontally or vertically, and that's gonna give you a lot more versatility compared to say, e-track rails, or something along those lines. This does have a black powder-coated aluminum rail, so it is gonna be pretty lightweight and durable for you. The eye bolt is a steel construction, so it is gonna be very durable for you as well, also has that black powder coat on there.
So very simple to get this set up. Just slide that into the track and you can get tighten down where you need it to. You got some adjustability along the length here. And then our end caps are going to provide a nice finished look. Overall weight is about 7.1 ounces, so just a little under half a pound, so not gonna be a whole lot of weight.
And most of that weight is coming from that steel eye bolt, so you can trust it's gonna be very sturdy for you. If we we're looking at our overall dimensions, our overall length, we're sitting at right about 8 1/4 of an inch long, our width, we're at 1 13/16 of an inch. And then our height from the very bottom, up to the end of that eye bolt, I'm gonna call it 2 1/4 of an inch. Our channel here is approximately 5.5 inches long, but we're not gonna have that full distance of adjustability because of the end caps there. And so we get about three inches to work with to make sure that it's lined up where we want it to be.
So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
