Is Curt Adapter for Chevy/GMC # C16023 Compatible with Reese and Other Industry Standard Hitches?

if i buy a curt gm puck system adapter will my reese 20,000 lb 5th wheel hitch fit into it,

The Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C16023 has holes that are 22 inches front to back on center and 20-3/4 inches side to side on center. The slots are a little wider than industry standard rails, so your Reese hitch which has the industry standard base of 22x20-1/2 on center will technically work with this adapter but you will have slightly more side to side movement with that extra 1/8 inch on each side. This is definitely not a best case scenario. Curt uses the L-shaped bracing to firm that up with their slider base so they can use that wider slot without the slop.
To get an adapter that won't have the extra movement, I recommend the Demco # DM6194 for your Reese 20K hitch. It will be a much nicer fit.
