Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Taylor Made Boat Flagpole. This is going to have the inaudible 00:00:08 clips as well to hold your flag in place and allow you to fly that nice and high above your boat, or really anywhere else that you want to mount it. Now, this is just going to be the flagpole plus the clips. So if you want a base to go with this, you will have to purchase that separately. We do have a couple options available here at etrailer.com, along with a lot of other flags to put on at your flagpole as well.

We can take a little closer look at our pole and those clips and see how they're going to work.Basically the way that these operate is that you can push the little teeth out of the way, and that's what grips around the pole to hold it in place. Right now they're fairly tight and that's going to prevent our flag from spinning around on those clips. And it also helps prevent them from falling down. If you want to make it looser so they can freely spin, you just push these apart, adjust the placement so that it's a little bit looser, maybe a little bit tighter, as you like. The one at the top is going to be pretty much fixed.

It does sit on the little cap there, so that keeps it in place. It can spin a little bit again, you can adjust the tension on that as well, the same way as I just showed you on the other one. If you do want that to spin, you can make it do so. And then this one also does have a little rubber o ring, that helps to prevent that clip from sliding up too far and getting that flag all bunched together.You can kind of adjust it there. The total length for this flagpole, it's going to be about 48 inches long, but let's go ahead and measurement just to be doubly sure.

It's going to go from the end of the pole, right to the top underneath where the cap is. That's going to be our usable length there. The diameter of this pole is about three quarters of an inch. You can adjust those or this bottom clip anywhere along that pole length to match up with your particular flag. Pretty easy to adjust that.

It is made out of an aluminum, anodized aluminum construction so we shouldn't have to worry about any kind of rust or corrosion with this we'll work with all kinds of different flags to have them flying high above your boat or on your house or wherever you want to mount it up.Well, I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is the right flagpole for you.
