For the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with 6-1/2-foot bed and the Factory Rail Kit you can indeed use the Curt Rail Adapter # C16023. This adapter will allow installation of your Reese brand sliding 5th wheel hitch. Do note the adapter adds 1-3/8-inches of height to the hitch set-up as compared to standard base rails that permanently mount to the bed.
