For your 2017 Subaru Forester with Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # C12100, I recommend the Draw-Tite Drawbar for 1-1/4" Hitches - 5/8" Rise, 1-1/4" Drop - 7" Long - 3.5K # 36051 simply because it is 2-3/4 inches shorter than # 36053 and you don't need that extra length when your hitch sits 3-1/2 inches back from the outer most part of the bumper. You will need a hitch ball like # 19258 for a 2 inch diameter ball or # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch diameter ball.

For the no drill bracket the length is dependent on how easily accessible or how hidden you want your connection. I personally would use the long # 18136 which is 6-1/2 inches long to get the connector out as close to the hitch receiver opening as possible because the cross bar on your hitch is so far recessed. We only have the long and short option # 18140 which is 3-3/4 inches and would be inconvenient on this particular hitch receiver. This can be used with Mounting Bracket for 7-Way # 18138.
