Replacement Landing Gear for 1998 Forest River Wildwood
Question:
My driver side landing gear leg on my 1998 F266SS 5th wheel needs replaced. I cannot locate any identifying markings on landing gear other than a VonWeise motor. The measurement from the bottom of the top bracket to the top of the bottom bracket is 18.5, which looks to be an odd size. Is there a universal replacement to for this leg?

With a unique measurement of 18-1/2 inches you may be able to contact the trailer manufacturer to find out what landing gear is on your trailer. You'll likely need the trailer's VIN for them to be able to identify it.
If this doesn't work, or you'd rather not go that route, you can have the current brackets cut off of the trailer and then have new ones welded on. I've linked our selection of landing gear for you.
