Does Curt Trailer Wiring Harness C56247 Fit 2015 Hyundai Sonata and Provide all Lighting
Question:
I have a 2015 Hyundai sonata SE and am looking at getting one of the wiring harnesses. I see with the Curt C56247 you don't need to run a power line up to the battery while with the Hopkins HM11143874 it has you run power up to the battery. Does this just mean that with the Curt Id only have running lights on my trailer while I have the lights on from my car?

The Curt trailer wiring harness part # C56247 that you referenced is a fit for your 2015 Hyundai Sonata and will give your trailer all of the lighting functions needed.
The power wire that the # HM11143874 is designed as a way to protect the taillight circuits of your vehicle. Instead of drawing the power for the trailer lights from the taillights of the vehicle it draws it directly from the battery. The Curt does not have this feature so it would be much easier to install but not necessarily as safe.
