Install Video for Installing Trailer Wiring in a 2011 Volvo XC 90
Question:
I installed and removed the wiring harness from Curt and existing connector that you spice into is exactly as described. However, even though the instructions are the same, on a 2011 XC90 the existing connector is anchored to the frame behind the side panels both sides. How do you get these connectors out to separate and splice into?

I attached an install video for the Tekonsha harness part # 118411 that is also a fit for your 2011 Volvo XC90 that shows how to access the connectors behind the rear panels of the vehicle.
There are actually two videos attached. One for a 2013 XC90 and one that shows a 2009. Both of these will show the same process which you should follow.
