Replacement Inner Tube Recommendation for Trailer Valet XL to Replace Leaking Tire

I recently bought one of these and use 2-3 times so far. It has been extremely useful in backing up my trailer into a corner. However, on the last use one of the tires starting leaking while on a slight incline. Luckily, I was able to lower the jack and stop it in place. Not sure what happened, now the tire holds pressure for few minutes and starts hissing right away once it moves. Tongue weight is 450lb, well under the limit. The part is barely a month old, not sure what my options are. Thanks for your help !

If I had to guess the valve stem is bad and if you put pressure on it leaks. What you'd want to do is replace the inner tube with the part # TVIT.

Yes, the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly #TVXL25 does come with solid rubber tires. We carry the replacements here with part #TVXLSR if you ever need to replace one, but Trailer Valet did upgrade from the pneumatic tires for this superior design.

The current versions of the Trailer Valet XL part numbers #TVXL25 for a 2-5/16 inch ball or part #TVXL2 for a 2 inch ball both use the solid tire that can't lose air. This is the style of Trailer Valet wheel we now offer for both dollies.

The replacement parts you need will be the pneumatic Trailer Valet Tire, #TVTR & the Replacement Inner Tire, #TVIT. Unfortunately, the newer Solid Rubber Tire, #TVXLSR will not work on the Trailer Valet versions that use pneumatic tires.
