If you don't already have a 4-way wiring harness, we need to start there to get your 7-way. For a 4-way, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56020 which plugs in behind the tail lights of your 2007 E350. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies and interior trim paneling to access the factory connections. I've attached a video to help.
Then you will use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. This kit will give you the connectors, circuit breakers, and wiring you need to complete your 7-way. It connects to your 4-way flat connector and then has wires for 12V, reverse, ground, and electric brake. I have also attached this installation video for you.
If you have a factory 4 way, the wires for the brake controller power and brake pedal are already run and you can use # 3035-P to tap into them. You will still need to run the brake controller output (blue wire) to the rear 7-way and run a hot 12V from the battery to the 7-way as well.
Then you will need a brake controller. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is a proportional controller that applies your trailer brakes at the same time and with the same amount of force as you hit the brake pedal in your van. This controller has an easy to understand LCD screen that takes code deciphering of most brake controllers completely out of the equation. It is easy to use and lets you know what you need to know at a quick glance. This still has the manual override, 3 boost settings, and is adjustable to your driving preferences.
