Will Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly AKHD-550-35-EZ-K Work On M416 Military Trailer
Question:
Inquiring on getting hub assemblies or replacement axle for a M416 Military trailer. The current bolt pattern is 5x5.5 and want to change it to 5x5 so I can use my jeep jk tires on the trailer. please advice if item AKHD-550-35-EZ-K will work with current axle. if not which 3500 axle should I get if i want to retain the stock parking brakes and use 5x5 bolt pattern? thanks in advance for your response

The best way to make sure you get the right hub and drum assembly is to pull one of the hubs on your trailer and check out the bearings.
I have attached a photo that shows where the numbers should be on the side of the bearings. If you cannot find the number on the bearing you can use a digital caliper like part # PTW80157 and measure the inside diameter. Then measure the inside diameter of your hub and see if they match the dimensions of the bearings that are included with the # AKHD-550-35-EZ-K assembly.
