Adapter To Be Able To Tow Fifth Wheel Trailer Behind 2017 GMC 2500 With Curt Gooseneck Hitch

I ordered the curt underbed gooseneck hitch part # 60611 for my 2017 GMC sierra short bed truck but have not installed it yet . My question is what kind of 5th wheel adapter would I need to be able to pull a 5th wheel travel trailer or are there other options out there that would suit me better?

To get extra clearance towing your fifth wheel trailer with a gooseneck hitch in your truck is to use an adapter like part # CAB-C5GX1216. This adapter bolts to your fifth wheel king pin and connects to the gooseneck ball.
Another option is to swap out your pin box and use a Goose Box. You just need to know what the make and model of your king pin is. Then check out the attached link for the Goose Boxes we offer. Or you can let me know what pin box you have and I will make a recommendation that will work for you.
