Trailer Wiring Harness and Converter without Accessories for a 2011 Mini Cooper
Question:
Im looking at Curt Circuit Protected Powered Converter w/ SMT Item # 56146 to install on a 2011 mini cooper hardtop. The kit listed on your site looks like the same item with the addition of a fuse holder and some other miscellaneous items which I already have and dont need more of. Will the 56146 work on the mini or do I need a different module? If I need a different module what type of module am I looking for? Thanks

You could use Curt trailer wiring harness 56146 on your 2011 Mini Cooper if you wanted. But this is the old design. The new design is available in kit # C59236 but the converter part is not available by itself. The new design has proven to be more reliable.
