Ball Mount Recommendation for 2015 Toyota Venza for 3-1/2 inches of Rise
Question:
I have a 2015 Toyota Venza with a 2x2inch hitch receiver. I need to get a class III trailer hitch with a 2inch ball, but Im having some problems finding the proper height. The measurement from the top inside of the receiver to the ground is 14, and the measurement to the base of the trailer tongue is 17.5inch with the trailer level. Can you point me in the right direction?

For your 2015 Toyota Venza with a 2 inch trailer hitch like the Curt part # 13356 you want to go with a ball mount that allows the trailer to be towed as level as possible.
Based on the dimensions you listed you would need a rise of 3-1/2 inches so that the trailer can be towed level. Since we don't have exactly 3-1/2 inches of rise the best choice is a 4 inch rise since the Venza's suspension is most likely going to settle a bit with the tongue weight of the hitch on it and put you right at level.
Then for a 2 inch ball you would want the part # 63845 which will work well too.
