How to Use a Bike Rack for a 2 Inch Hitch Receiver on a 2017 Infiniti QX50 with 1-1/4 Inch Receiver

Hi I have a bike rack that has a 2 inch base so I need a trailer hitch that can accommodate it for my 2017 Infiniti QX50. Is there one available? I do not need to be able to tow a trailer.

Currently, the only hitch available for your 2017 Infiniti QX50 is the Curt # C11510 which is a Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver.
Depending on how much weight you're putting on the hitch (Weight of your bike plus your bike rack) you may be able to use an expander. The Tow Ready # 80303 will adapt the 1-1/4 inch hitch to a 2 inch hitch. However, using the adapter will drop your tongue weight by 50 percent.
You should know that Curt requires the use of a support strap, # 18050, to be compliant with the hitch's warranty for any non-trailer loads, like your bike rack.
