Peterson Model 428S Tail Lights Without License Plate Illumination

Question:

Hello customer service team. I need to purchase 2 x Peterson model 428 taillamp assemblies. I see you make a distinction between RH and LH. I DO NOT wish to utilize the license plate illumination feature. Is there any reason I couldnt order two RH assemblies? Are they wired specific to RH vs LH? If no problem with question above I would like to purchase 2 x used good condition 431800 lights with housing, lens, bulb and 10inch wiring.

For your Tail lamp assemblies, you will want the Peterson Round Trailer Tail Light, 2 Stud Mounting, Right Hand # 431800. Since you do not want to utilize a license plate feature, you can simply order two of these and use one on each side as you mentioned. The only difference between the Right and the left hand is the license plate illumination feature of the left hand assembly. Other than that, the two parts are identical. The light grounds through the mounting studs. The brown wire is the running lights and the red wire is the turn signal and stop. It comes with the mounting hardware, lens, and bulb.

To add the 10 inches of wire you requested, you will want the Bonded 4 Wire - per foot # 16-4B-1.
