Trailer Hitch Recommendation and Comparison for 2014 Hyundai Tucson
Question:
Hello, I would like to purchase a trailer hitch for my 2014 Hyundai Tuscon and I noticed you had several different options. This trailer hitch will only be used for bike racks or gear carriers, not for actually pulling a trailer. I was wondering what the differences are between product codes: C13120, C13066, and 75717. I really appreciated the youtube video you published showing how to install the trailer hitch on my vehicle and I am going to try to install it myself after seeing how easy it looks! Thanks,

For your 2014 Hyundai Tucson there are a few options for trailer hitches. I would go with the Draw Tite part # 75717 as it has the highest capacities and best price but I can explain the differences too.
The Curt hitches part # C13120 and # C13066 are both a fit too but these are different capacities.
If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
For trailer wiring you then would want the part # 118501.
