Compatibility Of TorkLift Hitch And Extension To Pull 25 Foot Wells Cargo Trailer
Question:
Would this be truck freight or UPS to ship the Torklift Superhitch 30k? Also I have a 2 1/2 in extension to clear the back of our camper on my F-250 but wondering If I the Torklift extension that has 2 pieces and goes into both the 2 1/2 and 2inch receivers on the superhitch. I presently have the factory 2 1/2 in on the 2012 F-250 but looking to tow a trailer and mount a bike rack at the same time.. We are moving to the Pacific Northwest so will be pulling a 25ft Wells cargo trailer from Fort Worth to there..

The TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2-1/2" and 2" # TLF1002-30 is a confirmed fit for your 2012 Ford F-250 and will ship via UPS.
The extension you are referring to is the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension for SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers - 24" Long # TLE1524. This extension is supported in such a way that there not 50% a drop in the capacity you are able to carry like other adapter extensions. This does not give you the extra mount for a bike rack, however you can use a ball mount like the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers - 7,500 lbs # D210 to allow a bike mount. The weight of your Wells Cargo trailer will dictated whether this combination will work or not. It is not likely that this weight capacity will be usable, so you may need to pack your bikes in the trailer.
