Solution For Allowing Boat Trailer to Winch In Easier
Question:
While my boat only weighs a couple of hundred pounds I often have difficulty getting it back onto the trailer when the water is lower than the rear roller. The boat is a fiber glass drift boat and the trailer is basically just a steel cage with a 3inch diameter roller at the rear, parallel to the axle, and a carpet covered bunk near the front of the trailer. Where would I mount this electric winch? Does it mount where the existing hand winch is located or can it be mounted on the center member of the trailer aft of the ball receiver? I dont want to order it only to find out it wont mount on to the trailer without lots of effort. Thank you.

The simplest solution may be to install roller bunks on the trailer to help you winch the boat in easier instead of using an electric winch for such a small boat. For a 4 foot long roller bunk we have the part # DL21754 which would be a great option.
If you were to use the winch part # DL25200 it would mount to the same mount that your trailer has for it's current winch.
